在瑞典有一个新的研发计划，探索研发以使用木材或是回收的生物基为基础开发新的纤维以做成纺织品的可能性。
According to the Swedish Trade and Investment Board, the program, called “Building Swedish-Made Textiles,” has received 45.5 million Swedish kronor (approximately $5.2 million) in grants over three years and will be developed at Pernilla Walkenström at the scientific and engineering research institute SwereaIVF. The agency stated, “This plan is a strategic plan to develop nonwoven textiles and textile materials in Sweden. This plan will achieve new cross-industry cooperation and business models by creating a comprehensive knowledge platform and obtain certification from it.
