In the past few years, the fabric link was the weakest in the entire domestic textile and apparel industry chain. Fabric companies often lack inspiration and cannot find accurate positioning when designing and creating, and they often do not handle the finishing process well. Problems such as these have seriously restricted the sustainable development of my country’s high-end clothing industry. This lack of fabric links has directly affected the development of downstream clothing in the textile industry, resulting in a huge gap between my country’s textile clothing and fashion in major cities such as Paris, Tokyo, Milan, and New York. In addition, as the demand for personalized consumption becomes more and more obvious, the current product update speed of the textile and clothing industry is also getting faster and faster. Nowadays, it often only takes 1 to 2 months for a piece of clothing to be sold from the time it is put on the shelves to the time it is taken off the shelves. The life cycle is even shorter.

Although China is the world’s largest textile producer and exporter, with a complete industrial chain from raw materials to finished products, the entire textile industry is currently in a dilemma of overcapacity. Coupled with today’s growing personalized consumer demand, this series All factors are driving the fabric industry to transform and upgrade to a small and refined development model.

Therefore, some domestic fabric suppliers who are aware of this are accelerating the transformation and upgrading from traditional textile models to modern textile models featuring creativity, design, and capital. They use various new technologies to classify thousands of jacquard categories. For several major categories, the ERP system is used to integrate the entire fabric product design, research and development, production and sales processes, achieving standardization, intelligence and automation of production. This transformation allows small-batch products to be produced on the same machine as large-volume products, gradually creating a small-batch, multi-variety and large-scale production model.

The “Twelfth Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Textile Industry” formulated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology not long ago also clearly states that fabric companies must accelerate new dyeing, printing, multi-functional finishing (waterproof, moisture wicking, antistatic, etc.), automation Promotion and application of control and online monitoring technology in the printing and dyeing industry. This plan further promotes the transformation and upgrading of fabric companies and embarks on the path of small and refined development.
