Introduction and basic characteristics of medium-length fiber fabrics
Medium-long fiber fabrics refer to chemical short fibers whose fiber length and linear density are between cotton and wool. They are chemical fiber blended chemical fiber fabrics made by using cotton fiber fabric finishing equipment, methods and process routes. Medium-long fibers are mostly used to make wool-like fabrics, so medium-long fiber fabrics are also called “chemical fiber woolen”. The fabric has lower raw material cost (compared to cotton type) and finishing cost (shorter machine finishing process, simpler process and higher output than wool fabric), has better wearing performance and is progressing rapidly. It has become another important chemical fiber product in my country after polyester-cotton blended chemical fiber fabrics. 1. Basic characteristics: Medium-long fiber fabrics are very popular among consumers in recent years, and are cheap and high-quality imitation wool products that are developing rapidly. Medium-long fiber fabrics are blended chemical fiber fabrics with chemical fibers. Most of them are made of polyester as the main body and blended with viscose fiber or polyacrylonitrile fiber. Since the chemical fibers used are medium-long, the fiber length and linear density have the durability of fine wool fibers. Coupled with the excellent characteristics of polyester mentioned above, the medium-long fiber fabric has a wooly feel. It does not require ironing, is quick-drying, has low shrinkage, and has better density resistance than polyester/cotton fabrics. Products that have been loosely finished have the characteristics of good elasticity, full feel, crisp appearance and strong hair style.
